Berean Light Ministries was founded in August 2006 in Emporia, Virginia by Dr. Doretha D. and Elder Charlie E. Allen. After months of prayer and seeking God’s face for direction they received the unctioning of the Lord to proceed with ministry. The desire to fulfill God’s will for their lives and make their “calling and election sure” became the catalyst that propelled BLM into next level ministry.
Welcome to Berean Light Ministries. Thank you for visiting us by way of the web. If you live in or are visiting Emporia, we'd love to have you join us for church this weekend. We are a church of passionate worshipers driven by a Godly purpose. Come experience "church" at "The Light"

“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11
"Shedding Light, Showing Love"
God's Prophetic Word to His Church
Blankets and Sheets symbolize the covering of Messiah's glory. Messiah is lowering
his glory upon his bride. His visitation is increasing. His glory is increasing daily.
The glory will continue to increase.
Messiah is dressing His bride. This is preparation for the wedding. The heart of the
bride is calling for Messiah. His bride, the church, yearns for Messiah.
The bride is readying herself for Messiah's appearance.
This is the hour to be chaste and positioned. Lamps should be measured at overflow.
Remain in a consecrated position. While you wait, rest in consecration.
2013 MINISTRY MISSION
THEME
"Taking the Kingdom to the Community"
BEREAN LIGHT MINISTRIES, INC
I. Matthew 4: 23
"And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people."
Presence: The Church must follow Jesus' example of taking the message of the kingom to the citizens of the community. The Church must be visible. We must become a Church without walls.
Why? There remains a majority of people that do not visit or frequent the local church. Some call them the "unchurched." Because the Church is called to "Go" into all the world we must make ourselves accessible.
Evidence: Jesus attended their synagogues, weddings, funerals, and held outside campaigns or open air revivals.
Synopsis:
A. The Church must be mobile
B. The Church must be vocal
C. The Church must be moving with the message
