Berean Light Bible Institute (BLBI) is an extension of Berean Light Ministries founded in 2006 and located in Emporia, Virginia.
Mission Statement
It is the mission of BLBI to engage and prepare those persons who have an earnest desire to succeed in their Christian labor in a comprehensive, Christian education that will prepare them for successful ministry. Recognizing that many Christian leaders and laity desire formal theological training, BLBI exists to offer quality theological education that will assist persons in achieving their ministry goals.

BLBI exists for the purpose of biblical education and evangelism. It is designed for the believer that desires to increase his or her knowledge and understanding of the Bible and to equip the Body of Christ for ministry.

BLBI considers applications under the “rolling” admissions process which means that potential students may register for classes at any time. New Students may begin their course of study when the application process is complete and when current classes end.

Building on a Solid Foundation
Come and visit us at the Berean Light Bible Institute, where knowledge is being taught about the principles of God and His word. I have learned so much from this class about the basic things that a Christian should know. It has helped me to be more passionate as being the Mother of the Church. Attending the Berean Light Bible Institute have been a wonderful Christian experience, it has really helped me in the study of scripture and understanding the scripture more in depth. We never know where life will lead us to, but I am glad that God is in control of my life and His son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I would like to thank the instructors Dr. Doretha D. During the second class of Dr. Allen the Lord began to deal with me in a unique way.
I heard the Lord speak to me in this class, in this very environment that He was breaking off of me a dumb spirit. He went on to say that after this class I would articulate with understanding, confidence and boldness in the Word of God. I want to thank you for your vision for Berean Light Bible Institute. When I first came
across the newspaper article last fall about the institute, I was elated. It was an
answered prayer. I had been thinking about extending my bible knowledge for
sometime. The time was right. The school was accredited, close to home, tuition
fee and curriculum was just what I was looking for. Proverbs 29:18, “Where there is
no vision the people perish”. You are a great teacher. Your loving caring spirit,
patience, knowledge and encouragement is beyond measure. I would recommend
the school to anyone that is seeking more Christian Education. I thank you for the
spiritual growth. I have gain experience at BLBI during these pass months as a
result of your teaching. It has awakened me to how wonderful and glorious God
is. You showed me how to listen carefully, creatively and to be a responsible
instrument for God’s use and to be an encourager to others.
